Your details
This page collects your email address if you join the list, and your booking details if you book a table. Both only if you choose to.
Who is asking
Derry City Brewing Company Ltd, trading as Flight, of 53-55 Strand Road, Derry/Londonderry, BT48 7NS. We are the data controller for anything you send us here.
What we collect and why
Your email address, so we can send you news and let you know about events. That is the only use. We do not sell it, share it, or pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
How we are allowed to
Your consent. You give it by entering your address and confirming the link we email you. Nothing is added to the list until you click that link, and we keep a record of when you confirmed.
Where it is kept
With EmailOctopus, who run our mailing list for us. EmailOctopus and its sub processors, the companies it uses to run its service, handle your address only on our behalf. It is held mainly in Ireland. EmailOctopus can track when an email is opened and which links are clicked. We switch that off. We keep your address until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.
Getting out
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to delete your details, tell you what we hold, or correct it. Contact us and we will do it.
Booking a table
The booking form is run by Tapa Table, who take the booking on our behalf and pass it to us. It does not load until you press the Book a table button, so simply visiting this page sends nothing to them. Once you press it, your browser contacts Tapa Table, and through them Google (for page measurement) and Stripe (for payment and fraud protection). What you enter in the form goes to Tapa Table, and their privacy policy, linked at the foot of the form, covers how they handle it. We use your booking details to hold your table and to contact you about it, and for nothing else.
Cookies
This page sets none and stores nothing on your device, which is why you have not been asked to accept anything. If you press the Book a table button, the booking form and the services it uses may set cookies, and Tapa Table's cookie notice at the foot of the form explains them. Pressing the button is your choice to load it. If you would rather not, ring us on +44 7454 216051 instead.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your details badly, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk.
This covers our holding page only. A fuller policy follows with the full website.
